魔力が底をつくと どうなる?
Usage and nuance
It is 魔 (magic, demon) plus 力 (power). Frieren introduces 魔力 as something demons and mages can sense, and a key plot point is that she suppresses hers. Tensura uses it as the stat behind every skill.
Phrases: 魔力が切れた is "out of mana", 魔力を感じる is "to sense magic power", 魔力量 is one's total pool. Game-literate viewers will recognise MP.
Compare 能力 (nouryoku, ability) and 力 (chikara, strength). 魔力 is specifically the magical kind, never physical.
