Usage and nuance
Dr. Stone frames science as the opposite of 奇跡: every impossible thing has a method. Fullmetal Alchemist asks whether alchemy can produce a 奇跡 or only equivalent exchange. The word is a favourite in titles and song lyrics.
Be careful with the homophone 軌跡 (kiseki, trajectory or path), which also appears in titles. Same sound, different kanji, different meaning.
奇跡的に (kisekiteki ni) is "miraculously", as in surviving a fall 奇跡的に.
