Usage and nuance
It is the emotional glue of romance and friendship anime. Violet Evergarden's letters, The Promised Neverland's promises and Noragami's bonds all rest on ずっと. It makes a verb continuous across time.
A second meaning is "by far" in comparisons: ずっといい is "much better". Context separates the two.
Say it with a clear double t: zu-t-to. Without the pause it becomes unrecognisable.
